A warm welcome to the 11th annual CX Retail Exchange! A platform for customer experience leaders from across the retail and ecommerce space to come together for two days of insights, discussions, and the benchmarking of new era of customer excellence.
When the event launched a decade ago there were no self-service check-outs, QR codes were non-existent, and same-day delivery was unheard of. Fast-forward to today and 10% of all e-commerce spending is done via social commerce, retailers are second-guessing their returns policies, and there are grocery stores that have even started introducing “slow” shopping lanes for those customers who still seek human interaction along their shopping journey. It is an exciting time for retail with innovation at every fingertip, but simultaneously a tricky water to navigate for CX leaders who are seeing resources and budgets being cut in the wake of dwindling profits and uncertain futures. With doors closing, others are opening, and we are seeing an evolution of the high street take place, placing experience at the heart of everything retail stands for. This is no doubt the time to be a CX leader in retail!
